About the Photographer

I am a travel and architectural photographer originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. After receiving a degree in art history and anthropology from Rice University in Houston, I moved back to Tennessee and worked as a graphic designer for five years. But my passion for travel and desire for adventure led me to leave home for a 14-month journey around the world. With a backpack and my camera, I traveled to over 30 countries, photographing mountain gorillas in Rwanda, monasteries in Tibet, and glaciers in New Zealand. This website showcases the work I produced on that trip and others before and since. I am now based in Orlando, Florida, where I work as a graphic designer and architectural photographer for a vacation rental management company.
